Excellence comes with a Smile

Meet the Team

The dental practice at 30 Beaumont Street was established in 1933. It was the first practice in Oxford to employ an oral hygienist.

There are three dentists working at the practice and they share the reception. Ask for Charl du Toit or Fabrizio Castellari by name.

Charl du Toit (BChD Pret.) qualified in 1991 in Pretoria, South Africa. A private practitioner in England since 2001, he has practices in both Berkshire and Oxfordshire, UK. Charl has a special interest in restorative dentistry; introducing digital impressions to his practices’ in 2013. Charl has lectured internationally highlighting the positive effect of digital dentistry in his dental practice and how it has changed his work-flow forever.
Charl is a member of the British Society of Occlusal Studies and has a special interest in the relationship between the fit of the teeth, jaw joint and the muscles of mastication. He offers a range of high quality dental treatments from crown and bridge work to teeth whitening and aesthetic dentistry.

Dr Fabrizio Castellari

Dr Fabrizio Castellari studied dentistry in South Africa and has been working as a dentist in England for the past 20 years. In addition to his degree, he has done a Diploma in Restorative Dentistry and is busy with his Diploma in Dental Implants. Dr Castellari has a keen interest in facial aesthetics.

 The Reception

Our reception is manned by three receptionists. There will usually be two receptionists on duty except over lunch where one will man the stations. Please feel free to phone or email the reception where one of our friendly receptionists will be able to help you on your dental journey with us.

 Hygienists

At the practice we have a number of hygienists who use their own surgeries. All  hygienists are highly skilled and form an integral part in helping our patients maintain good oral health. It is good practice to have your teeth professionally cleaned twice a year. The hygienist also looks at the general health of your gums and dentition and will recommend a visit to Dr David Paul if they notice something out of order.

Practice Nurse

Aleks Wardas completed her dental nursing exam in 2011. She enjoys dental nursing and is very good at cleaning the surgery between patients. Cross infection control is very important to her. She manages the surgery and helps David Paul with the dental procedures. Aleks regularly attends dental courses to keep up to date with the latest regulations and techniques.
